(Trailer) The Walking Dead S6 Finale
The wait is almost over guys. The finale for The Walking Dead will hit our screens this Sunday and we couldn’t be more excited. We have long awaited the introduction to one of the comic’s most notorious characters – Negan, and of course who can forget Lucille? We had a little nod to that particular weapon in last weeks episode, when Carl picked up a hand gun which had a baseball bat with barbed wire wound around it etched into the handle. Foreshadowing maybe?
It has already been stated that the TV show will honor the comics whether that be entirely or with a few twists – like how Denise’s death in the TV show took the place of Abe’s in the comic a few episodes ago. The TV show is renowned for keeping characters alive a lot longer than they did in the comic story-line – Shane being one of the obvious ones. The finale is also set to be a full 90 minute feature – meaning more action and suspense!
However, we don’t know how much of the Negan story-line will be in this finale as it has been suggested that the finale will end on a cliffhanger. Does this mean Lucille will be brought out and we see her come down on an unknown person – whom we will only find out the identity of in 6 months time? Maybe. Prepare yourselves for anything as we all know TWD loves to make us squirm.
Norman Reedus himself has even come out and said:
Without a doubt, this whole season has been just completely ballistic. I will say that the Season 6 finale is the most hard-core finale we’ve ever done, if not the best episode we’ve ever done. I mean I saw a rough rough rough cut of it way back when and I was speechless for at least an hour. So hold on for the rest of this, because it gets real crazy.
Another rumour about the finale is that the beloved GTA V voice actor Steven Ogg, who voiced the lunatic Trevor, will also have a cameo in the episode. He looks to be the leader of the group Rick is trying to reason with due to the pretty unique facial hair he’s sporting. What do you think? Is it really Steven Ogg?
So hold onto your hats folks – it looks to be a bumpy road ahead.
