Left 4 Dead 3 : Rumour or Real?
It has been quite a few years since the popular zombie survival video game franchise Left 4 Dead released its sequel which received very positive reviews, and it quickly became a game to remember. Since then we assumed there would be a third installment of the zombie themed goodness but we were left waiting with baited breath when news of its arrival became virtually nonexistent with the added occasional statement that left us feeling less than hopeful.
That all (hopefully) changed when an alleged document was leaked, possibly by a Valve employee, that claims there is still a high chance we could be seeing the Left 4 Dead franchise on our horizons pretty soon. The rumor suggests that Valve is actively developing Left 4 Dead 3, with a release of late 2016 to early 2017 for the game. The source states that there will be six new campaigns to play, with four new characters introduced as a “prequel-sequel” to the franchise taking place shortly after the initial zombie virus outbreak. If the game is progressed as far along as suggested by the source, we should be getting a little more indication regarding the franchise soon, making this particular fan pretty darn excited.
This is all of course speculation and rumour, but could there really be another Left 4 Dead in the works? What do you guys think? leave your thoughts in the comments below.
