Horror Block, created by the lovely folks at Nerd Block, is a monthly subscription box packed with horror related goodies. Each month features a new and exciting theme and features several items from horror classics to feature creatures.
From the team themselves: “Horror Block contains licensed merchandise, hand-picked by our team of uber-nerds representing all genres from movies, television, video games, internet, and more! Each item is carefully selected and put through a series of in-house testing based on quality, brand association, collectability, and most important – fun factor.
Working with some of the biggest brands in the business, Horror Block not only delivers on value but also rewards members with exclusive items found nowhere else!”
December’s Horror Block featured some zombie related items and a tribute to Wes Craven – lets delve inside!
The main item in the box came from ShirtPunch, an exclusive Wes Craven tribute tee. Last year we lost one of the great minds in horror cinema, this tee certainly does the great man some justice and the tee itself is comfortable to wear.
Also included was a Daryl Dixon Funko keychain from their collectible Pop! Figure line. Not only are these items collectible, this Daryl is complete with blood splatter which is EXCLUSIVE to Horror Block! How about that! Next up was an EXCLUSIVE A Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Krueger plushie, which whilst cute is very deadly! Brought to the Horror Block from those at Bleachers Creatures – August Horror Block owners can even pair him up with Jason Voorhees!
And finally we have an EXCLUSIVE zombie hula girl which can be used to brighten up your dashboard or desk, a Godzilla Vs Cthulhu print from Paul Hanley, and issue #163 or Rue Morgue. Rue Morgue is one of the biggest names in horror entertainment, with the magazine consistently offering news, previews, reviews and more from the world of Horror!
